Mina Perić, PhD, is a neuroscientist with over 10 years of experience in the investigation of molecular mechanisms of pathological changes of the nervous system. She graduated from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, where she also obtained her master’s degree. In 2022, she defended her doctoral thesis focusing on the investigation of eurodegenerative changes of glial cells in a rodent model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). She is currently focusing on deciphering the molecular mechanism of neurodevelopmental diseases utilizing induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and brain organoids in the research of pathological changes of aberrant brain development.
She was a participant in over ten research projects, both national and international, and gained training and experience in distinguished international laboratories.
