Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency
Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency is an inherited disorder that may cause lung disease and liver disease.
For genetic testing, it is necessary to deliver 2.5 ml of peripheral blood with sodium citrate as an anticoagulant.
The sample can be delivered every Friday from 10 to 16h.
If the patient received a blood transfusion during the last month, buccal swab sample must be submitted.
