Thrombofilic set

Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering is the first institute in our country which in 1998 introduced molecular diagnostics of thrombophilia. The thrombophila diagnostic panel includes: FV Leiden, FII G20210A, MTHFR C677T and PAI-1 4G/5G gene variants. Indications for testing are: personal or family history of venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, APC resistance, cerebral-vein thrombosis and unexplained recurrent miscarriages. Since 2004, our Institute has participated in the European Quality Control Program organized by DGKL, Reference Institute for Bioanalytics.
