On Saturday, March 9, 2024, a National competition of high school research projects was held in Belgrade, where eight participants of the Biology and Chemistry Program for high school students performed in the "life science" category out of 30 who are attending the program this school year. Two students from the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium won medals at the competition - Ana Fio won the first place, and Mihajlo Kojić the third.
